JDU – Juvenile Diabetes Unit 
A child could get type 1 diabetes as an infant, a toddler or a teen. Type 1 diabetes in children is a condition in which the child's body no longer produces insulin to survive, so it has to be replaced with injections of insulin. Type 1 diabetes in children is also known as juvenile diabetes or insulin-dependent diabetes.
Juvenile diabetes unit was established In 2019 with only 5 children and now 150 children are registered. Children with Type 1are registered, their blood glucose is monitored, they are provided with the best medicines and gluco meter. They are given Diabetes education to ensure proper diabetes care even at home. Families who cannot afford Diabetes Care are AIMS responsibility.
